In partnership with Festival de la Cité de LausanneBrazilian choreographer Alice Ripoll works with passinho dancers from the baile funk, special nights in the favelas of Rio. She brings the artists to contemporary writing, without forgetting their passion for the popular dance that is passinho.
The result is a beautiful mix between this explosive dance and mysterious moments where the movement becomes more intimate.
CRIA is a magnificent work inspired by Brazilian folk dances and directed by one of the most important contemporary choreographers in Brazil today.
